Busy Busy Busy

We have had a busy summer....we started it off with Josh getting a new job at the Lebanon Boys and Girls club, I went back to work after maternity leave, and then Deagan and Josh went to Chicago. Over 4th of July Deagan got really bad strep throat, and 3 stitches in his head. Addie is growing like a weed, and Brayden is as funny as ever!! We have been going to the lake as much as we possibly can, but it is never enough!! I work every other weekend, so it makes our summer seem even shorter.

Deagan did T-ball through Park and Rec in June and July and had a great time!! And then finished his summer activities with safety town. He is currently playing Pop Warner football, and loves it this year...thank goodness!!!

Both boys have been swimming a lot, and love it!! Deagan has been trying wakeboarding off the boom this summer, and is doing a great job!!! Check him out below....

Brayden continues to make us laugh pretty much a zillion times a day, if not more. He has the best comments! His hair continues to maintain the mow-hawk do, I don't think it will ever go away, but it fits him great!! He is potty trained, except for at night...hopefully that will come soon:)

Addie is almost 6 months old (I can't believe it). She is about 18 pounds, and trying to crawl. She is such a sweet sweet baby, and very even tempered!!

We were blessed with a new niece last week. Morgan Kerin Lamm was born on 8/25/09, she was 4 weeks early...she had a bit of a rough start, but is doing great now!!

School starts in a week. Deagan will be in 1st grade, dual immersion program. Brayden will continue to be at Johnnie's along with Addie. Josh unfortunately can't coach CHS football this year with his new job, hopefully it is only a temporary thing, but he is able to help coach Deagan's football team. And, I just passed a certification exam for Maternal Newborn Nursing, so now I am an RNC.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will try to be more diligent about my postings from now on........however, don't hold me to that :)

6 days without...

Deagan and Josh left this afternoon for their birthday trip to Chicago to visit The Gregg's. They are staying in Portland tonight, and fly out at 6am. I am already missing them, so is Bray...he keeps crying for Daddy and Deagy! Poor guy!!! They don't get back until Sunday; well really it is Saturday, but it will be too late for them to drive home.

I work all week long, so hopefully this week goes fast, for Bray and for me!

Have fun boys!!! And GO CUBBIES!!!

A quick update

I started back to work this past Thursday. It was nice to be back, I missed my friends at work, but it was a little hard to leave my last baby. She of course was in good hands, at Johnnie's!!

The boys have been crazy....I came into the playroom, and it was flooded with water thanks to Bray. I was letting them play in the yard with the hose, I closed the playroom door. Some how, while I was on the phone with the bank, the door got opened and the 2 year old thought it needed to be cleaned :) Good thing we have a lot of towels! Then, when I put them in the bath, he thought he should smell like toothpaste...the bath was full of blue crest kids toothpaste! YAY! Josh thought it was a good punishment for them to clean it up....not a great idea. The boys ended up with toothpaste all over them. I cleaned the bath, and back in they went!

Addie has been great. She is such a great baby! She is smiling all the time, and talking (cooing) tons! She is starting to hold her head up more and more. She is a chunk. She weighed 14 1/2 pounds at her 2 month check up, and had grown 3 inches!! She is in the 97% for height and weight!

Josh got a new job. He is the Assistant Athletic Director at the Lebanon Boys and Girls Club. He started last Monday. So far he loves it! It is great for him to work more with sports!!!

Josh and Deagan leave for Chicago a week from Monday. They are both excited to spend time with Uncle Kev and Aunt Luthy, and the kids.

That's it for now~

Time's up

Ok, I was just going to give an update to what we have been up to, but the baby is screaming at me from her crib...must be snack time!!

Just a test to see how the mobile upload works....technology is amazing!

Welcome Addison Harper Copeland

She is here. On March 13, in the wee hours of the morning Addison joined our family. She weighed 8lbs 5oz, the smallest of the 3 kiddos, 20 1/2 inches long. She is too cute!! Labor was easy, I had a GREAT epidural, and I only had to push about 5 minutes...the benefits of having 3! It was a long wait for us....I was schedule for an induction on the 11th, but it was sooooo busy at the hospital that they had to keep putting me off. So finally at about 7:00pm on the 12th I got the call to come in for the induction. Anyway, when I have some time to upload pictures I will do so!

Parental Advisory

So, today Deagan and Josh had a rough morning. Let's just say Deagan had a HUGE fit over chocolate milk. Anyway, when I picked up Deagan from afterschool club, he had a book and a CD that he had checked out from the bookmobile, and extension from the Corvallis Public Library.

The Bookmobile comes to D's after school program once a month. Anyway, he was sooooo excited because he had gotten a CD for his Dad. I asked D what CD it was, and he said Korn. I said, does Daddy like Korn (we do not listen to Korn), and D said yes. I happened to be on the phone with Josh, and he said you'd better check the CD for parental advisory. After we got home and I unloaded the kids, bags, and went through D's backpack, I found the CD and there was parental advisory. I couldn't believe that the bookmobile would let a 5 year old check this out. I immediately called Josh, who was irate. I then called the bookmobile, thinking it is 530, they wont be there, and they weren't so I left a message that I was concerned with something that my 5 year old checked out. About 15 minutes later, after I called my Mom and Nan, the guy called me back.

I explained the situation, and he validated my concerns. Apparently, they are not allowed to tell anyone, even 5 year olds who can't read, what they can and cannot check out due to freedom of whatever. Anyway, he was very nice, and said that he was the one who checked the CD out to D. He said that he questioned D about the music a couple of times, and D kept saying it is for my Dad he really likes Korn (not). I still haven't figured out if they library guy told him the name, or if all of the sudden he can read. The guy said that he really appreciated my phone call because there are a lot of parents out there that don't care, and that we were really good parents for doing so. He also said the teachers are usually in the bookmobile, today they weren't, and the teachers normally say what is appropriate and what isn't. Still, I am very frustrated that any 5 year old can get a CD like this.

The CD will go back tomorrow. I told D that it was so nice for him to get a CD for daddy and that it was very thoughtful, but anything that has the parental advisory label (I showed him the label), wasn't for 5 year olds, and that you had to be really really old to get these types of CDs....he asked if daddy was really really old to get it since he likes Korn so much, and I said yes (sorry Josh) :) And, next time to stick with country music like Rodney Atkins. D agreed, and went off to play.

However, I can't help but smile, and my heart warms that he would try and get his dad something on his own. D is so thoughtful, and has such a warm heart for all of his family and friends. He is so sensitive and was only trying to surprise his daddy.

It's been a while......

Wow, it has sure been a while. We had a great holiday season, it was very busy, and we are now trying to get back into a routine.

Over the holidays we had a total of 4 Christmas's, my mom's birthday and New Years with our normal crew.

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the baby. Deagan picked the name, we gave him our top 3 list, and he chose Addison.

We went to the coast this weekend, it was beautiful!!! Here is a slide show of our adventures.
