Deagan doesn't officially turn 5 until May 19th, but since I work every other weekend, we had to do his kid party on my weekend off. Yesterday we had his 5th birthday party at Peak Elite Gymnastics. Deagan has never taken gymnastics, but we have been to plenty of parties at this place. It is amazing! They have 2 staff people there to corral the children, there is a bounce house, and all of the gymnast equipment to play on.
18 kids showed up; a variety from school and daycare. They all did great, and no one got hurt, which is always the main goal with the majority of the kids being boys. We had one yellowjacket sting, and a few other bumps a bruises, but nothing major.
My friend Johnnie, who is my kids other mom :), her sister makes cakes, and made Deagan's. The party was a Transformer theme, and he wanted an Optimus Prime cake. It turned out SO GREAT!!!

Looks like you guys had fun! That's so funny we were there on the same day! We had such a good time, I think we'll have to have Alex's 3 year old party there!
What a fun time! Happy Birthday, Deagan! We can't believe that you're already 5. You really know how to throw a great party! It looks like you had lots of fun. Enjoy being 5.
